There have been many Marriott’s victories to keep count of now, but it is worth mentioning that all of them have been special in their own way. And here is another one which will delight the readers.

It is time for the German clients to celebrate once again because the court of the First Instance No 2 Palma de Mallorca declared the fact that the contract between the client and Marriott’s Vacation Club was null and void within a time span of just 7 months. But it was not just about nullifying the contract between the two teams. Apart from this, the court also demanded that the entire full amount of 102,119€ has to be repaid along with additional costs for interest and more.

After proper examination of the amount and thorough calculation, the judge ordered that an amount of 71,119€ has to be awarded to the clients according to the amount that was spent on the contract. Moreover an additional amount of 31.000€ was also demanded by the court as compensation for amounts which were taken illegally during the statutory cooling off period. This is illegal and according to the law, the amount to be repaid has to be double the amount which was originally paid.

So it is not wrong to say that the clients will be getting a total amount which is approximately double of what they had paid initially. This indeed turned out to be a great success and the German clients deserve heartfelt congratulations for the entire legal battle.
