Here is another great win against the Marriott’s which has resulted in a significant payout! It has been a noteworthy victory and one which is worth mentioning to pull up the spirits of the readers.

Around December 2020, there was news where the German clients had achieved their victory against Marriott’s. This was because the court of the First Instance No 7 Marbella had declared all the three contracts of the clients with Marbella Beach Club and Marriott Club Son Antem as null and void. This news made quite a few rounds and gained widespread interest.

Moreover, it was also informed that it was not only the amount the client had paid on the contracts was demanded by the court. Along with that an additional amount of 64.219€ was also awarded to the clients as a compensation for the the deposits that were collected during the statutory cooling off period as this is not considered legal.

After all the charges, the total amount awarded to the clients was around 108,985€ and some additional amount for interest. And the most interesting part of the entire case is that the amount awarded to the clients is approximately 2.5 times more than what they had actually paid.

Around 5 months later, the Marriott’s paid 142.433€ to the clients which includes the original claimed amount of 108.985€ including an additional fee of 33.448€ as interest.

Now that is what we call a fantastic victory!
