Back in around April 2021, there was news regarding the legal battle between Marriott vacation club and some German clients. The court of the First Instance No 2 Palma de Mallorca had declared that the contract between the Marriott vacation club and that German client was void and null and the court demanded an entire repayment of 43.319€ of plus some extra amount for the interest.

But what is even more surprising is the fact that within less than a month, the court has announced that the Marriott team has deposited that amount into the court voluntarily and now that amount will be transferred to the account of the client.

As far as Marriott cases are considered, there have been many throughout the years but it has been observed that the courts of the First Instance have been processing all these cases and legal battles and passing their judgements with incredible speed. In fact, they have been so quick with passing sentences that some cases have taken even as little as six months and the rest were solved in just around 8 to 10 months, which is usually very unlikely. At the same time another observation says that the Marriott team has not been lazy when payouts are considered, and like other resorts which have faced similar sentences.

This particular payout was completed in less than 1 month and the one before this was done within a time span of three months. Looking at the pattern, if things go in the same way, it can be safely said that the claims against Marriott will take less than a year from submission to payout and what better news for the clients than this?
